We verify that the framing of a project is done in accordance with design plans. We check critical load points, penetrations/framing cuts that may be made by rough-in mechanical and electrical work, and overall structural integrity of the framing in place. We also address safety, moisture, ventilation, and thermal protection issues.
We have years of experience and expertise in the improvement of drainage systems for buildings, particularly around, under, or out of crawl spaces, cellars, or basements where water issues are critical to the substructure moisture content. Most crawl spaces and many cellars or basements have some natural water intrusion by percolation and seepage. We design systems to prevent standing water and assure good drainage and waterproofing measures for the best long-term protection of the substructure.
We offer our team to be your on site project management team for your commercial or residential construction project. This includes preliminary plan review, estimating if desired, regular site visits during the critical stages of the construction process with written reports; payment request review and approval during the project; and final punch list and project acceptance.
We will review your upcoming project, do cost analysis/or value engineering studies as appropriate and develop a project estimate and budget. We will look at any proposed project to determine how it best meets your needs and budget and help with the all-important decision on whether or not the project should proceed. In many cases, we can offer alternative materials or methods for cost reduction.
